His career began with civil-engineering studies at Camosun College. Today that experience gives him special insights into construction management, but it quickly sent young Cam looking for hands-on work that would get him outdoors. After a switch to the trades program, he won Camosun’s George and Elsie Farmer Award for best overall carpenter. Since then, jobsite foremen and Torrell Homes’ clients have praised Cam’s dedicated attention to detail.

Graham loves collaborating with clients, especially when selecting design options and fine finishings to complete their vision. For him, interior design and landscaping are all about the homeowners’ current taste and lifestyle. When it comes to a house’s bones, he builds with a generational legacy in mind.

Graham’s carpentry career was first inspired by a highschool woodworking teacher who had young Graham help with seismic upgrades on the school. That opened up his path to studying trades at Camosun, onto his first construction jobs and then a project manager role with Torrell Homes. He’s learned much from skilled bosses in the past. Now the creative concepts that clients bring to the table guide his ongoing education in homebuilding.
